Each lithophane is individually 3D printed in white PLA from your personal photograph. No two are alike. When held up to a window, lamp, or LED light, the varying thicknesses of the material reveal your image in stunning light and shadow — a physical, glowing portrait of your memory.
How It Works
- Upload Your Photo — Choose a clear, high-resolution photograph.
- We Transform It — Your photograph is converted into a custom three-dimensional lithophane file.
- We 3D Print It — Your lithophane is individually manufactured in white PLA.

Photo Guidelines
The best lithophanes come from:
- Clear, high-resolution photographs
- Well-lit subjects with good contrast
- Subjects that are clearly visible and centered
- Original photographs rather than screenshots
- Images where nothing important is cut off at the edges
Extremely dark, blurry, or very low-resolution images may not reproduce well. If your submitted photograph cannot reasonably produce a good lithophane, we may contact you for a replacement image before production begins.

A lithophane uses different thicknesses of translucent material to control how much light passes through it. When illuminated from behind, those thickness differences reveal your photograph in beautiful detail — like a glowing portrait made of light and shadow. It's an art form that transforms a flat image into something dimensional and magical.
